Dali's Holiday Sneaker Drive
Dali's Holiday Sneaker Drive started in 2022, as a response to people in the community needing sneakers. In 2023 the drive partnered with the Wakeman Boys and Girls Club in Bridgeport, drew hundreds of people, and took in over a thousand donations. 2026 is the fifth annual drive.
This year the drive travels. Rather than sitting in one location we go where the people are, with Sneaker Stops on every side of Bridgeport and a custom city map to find them. A stop is more than a giveaway, with sneaker cleaning stations, photo booths, face painting, and other family friendly activities. The goal is to raise $5,000 and get over 1,000 pairs to children, teens and adults, and shoes go straight to families, to shelters, and to recovery facilities here in the city.
